The bridge from homebrew to pro. not around compromises.
Advanced homebrewers scaling up
Already maxing out a 20G? The 1 BBL doubles your batch with the same workflow, plus a proper jacketed conical for repeatable fermentation across every style.
Small-batch pros & pilot brewers
Kombucha, mead, hard seltzer, or pilot beer R&D. A real commercial-grade two-vessel setup at a price that still works for a startup or side project.
Nano taprooms testing the waters
Pour your own beer alongside guest taps. Two batches a week sustains a single house line — enough to prove demand before scaling to 3–5 BBL.
Base or Complete?
Base ships with everything you need to brew + ferment — vessels, element, controller, pump, full tri-clamp hardware, tap-water cooling. Complete adds the five accessories most BräuPro owners buy in the first six months. Buying the kit saves $200 versus picking these up individually later.
How will you cool wort to pitch temp?
A counterflow chiller is required for the cold side. The Unitank jacket holds fermentation temp; it doesn't knock down boiled wort.
How will you hold fermentation temp?
BEF-02 runs your 1 BBL Unitank on its own. BEF-05 adds multi-pump and 67-gal reservoir support — the upgrade path as you grow.
Add a brew table?
Welded stainless table sized to the 50-gallon mash tun, with the pump and plumbing mounted underneath.
Two vessels. One complete process.
DrainPro mash tun + jacketed conical Unitank. Wort recirculates through the mash bed, drains to the Unitank for boil, chills through the jacket, and ferments in place — all standard tri-clamp.
Heat strike water
The Unitank's element heats strike water to mash temperature. Acts as your HLT — no third vessel.
Mash
Pump recirculates wort from the Unitank through the grain bed in the DrainPro mash tun. Even, repeatable conversion.
Lauter & sparge
Wort drains from the mash tun back to the Unitank through the sloped bottom drain.
Boil
Unitank brings wort to a rolling boil — sanitizing the vessel completely before fermentation. No chemical sanitizer.
Chill
Cool through the Unitank jacket using tap water or the optional glycol chiller for faster, more precise cooling.
Ferment & package
Dump trub through the conical. Pitch yeast. Ferment under pressure with stable temperature control. Pressure transfer to keg.

Order to first brew.
In stock in Vancouver, BC. Most orders ship in 3–5 business days. Live commissioning support is included so day-of-arrival is plug, plumb, brew.
Order placed
ATC checkout, or book a 15-min call first if you want voltage/cooling guidance before you commit.
Picks & ships
Pulled from inventory, crated for freight, delivered price, no customs, no surprises. Tracking and delivery appointment booked direct with carrier.
Plug & plumb
Unbox, set the vessels, plumb cold water (or glycol), wire to your 240V circuit. Most installs take an afternoon.
Live commissioning call
30–60 min video call covering first water-test, controller setup, and first-brew checklist. Included with every 1 BBL.
Right scale for your operation.

About the 1 BBL system.
Will I be charged anything at the border?+
No. Every US order ships fully duty-paid. We clear it and prepay the duties, tariffs and brokerage before it leaves Vancouver, and the courier delivers it like a domestic parcel. The price you see is the price you pay.
Our guarantee: if you're ever charged import duties or fees on a Bräu Supply order, send us the receipt and we refund them, no questions.
Alaska, Hawaii and international orders are quoted before you buy — contact us.
How is the 1 BBL different from the BräuPro 20G?+
Bigger vessels, same workflow. The 1 BBL doubles your batch (10–32 gal vs 5–20 gal) with a proper 40 gal jacketed Unitank instead of the smaller fermenter. Same two-vessel architecture, same tri-clamp parts ecosystem, same SV2 hot-side controller + cold-side temperature controller. If you're already maxing out a 20G and want headroom — or want a real pilot setup for kombucha, mead, or pro beer R&D — this is the next step.
Do I need the glycol chiller, or is tap water enough?+
Tap water works for ales fermented at 60–70°F when your cold tap supply runs colder than the set point — fine for most North American homebrew setups. Glycol is required for lagers, year-round temperature stability, and faster crash cooling. You can also add it later — the base system is already glycol-ready, and the glycol kit drops in.
Is 1 BBL enough to run a taproom or nano brewery?+
For the right operation, yes. Two batches per week sustains a single house tap with rotation. Most successful 1 BBL operators run 4–8 batches a week across multiple beers. It's not a 5 BBL system — but it's enough to prove demand and validate a brand before scaling up. If you know you need 3+ BBL out of the gate, see the 3 & 5 BBL waitlist.
What power do I need?+
240V single-phase, dedicated circuit for the standard config — same as a North American electric range. We'll confirm the exact circuit requirement during the spec call before shipping. Sub-panel and circuit work is your local electrician's job; we provide the load sheet they need.
What's the 15-min call for?+
Quick voltage / cooling / space-fit check before you commit. Not a sales pitch. Most callers want to confirm 240V availability, decide between tap-water and glycol for their environment, or talk through how it fits the space they have. 15 minutes is enough for any of those. Book it if you want it — skip it and order if you don't.
What's the warranty and parts story?+
2-year warranty on the vessel, every weld and TC port, and on the controller and pump where they're included.
Heating element: 2 years against defects. Not covered: dry-firing (running the element without liquid covering it), and heat or melt damage at the twist-lock plug from a loose or improper connection — a proper, fully seated connection has to be maintained.
Temperature probe: 6 months — it's a consumable. Gaskets, clamps and O-rings are consumables too; replacements for all of these are in stock and cheap.
Lifetime parts support on everything we build — serviced, not replaced.
