Not sure which system is right for you?
Answer two questions and we'll point you in the right direction.
Do you want fermentation built into your system?
If you plan to buy a separate fermenter — a conical, a bucket, or a unitank — choose no. If you want your brewing system to handle fermentation too, choose yes.
What matters most for your fermentation setup?
Both options support pressure fermentation and glycol-ready cooling. The difference is vessel architecture — and whether you're planning to scale beyond homebrew.
How do you prefer to brew?
Both are hot-side-only systems. The difference is the number of vessels and how hands-on you want your brew day to be.
Unibräu All-In
One kettle handles mash, boil, and fermentation — no second vessel, no transfers, no sanitizer. The fermentation lid seals the vessel after boil so you pitch yeast straight into the same kettle you brewed in. Pressure-capable and glycol-ready out of the box. Available in 10G and 20G, in 120V or 240V.
BräuPro
A dedicated mash tun and a conical Unitank fermenter give you better trub separation, clean yeast harvesting, and a process designed for the long game. Scales from 5G batches to 1BBL. The system you won't outgrow.
Unibräu DrainPro
A single electric kettle with a removable grain basket handles your entire brew day — heat, mash, sparge, and boil — in one compact vessel. Countertop-friendly and capable of producing excellent beer in 10G, 20G or 30G batches. Want fermentation built in from day one? Look at the Unibräu All-In.
HERMS
A traditional HLT, mash tun, and boil kettle setup built with electric heating elements and bottom-drain efficiency. If you know how you like to brew and want a system that matches that process exactly — modular, configurable, and built to last — this is it.
Choosing a brewing system.
Which brewing system should I buy?+
Pick by how you want to brew. For the simplest brew day in the least space, a single-vessel Unibräu. To brew and ferment without moving wort to a third vessel, the two-vessel BräuPro (a mash tun plus a jacketed Unitank). For a classic three-vessel brewhouse with a recirculating mash, the HERMS. Try each brew day in the Brew Day Planner or compare them side by side. Brewing commercially? See pilot brewing systems.
Which systems run on a standard 120V outlet?+
The 10-gallon Unibräu, Unibräu DrainPro and Unibräu All-In, and the 5-gallon BräuPro, come in 120V. Every other size, and every HERMS, runs on 240V. Our electric brewing guide explains the difference.
Can I ferment in the same system?+
Yes, with two of them. The Unibräu All-In pressure-ferments in the brew kettle, up to 15 psi, and the BräuPro brews into a jacketed Unitank that then ferments the batch. The Unibräu, DrainPro and HERMS are hot side only: you transfer to your own fermenter or a Unitank.
How long does a system take to ship?+
Every system is built to order in our Vancouver, BC workshop, typically in 5 to 10 business days, then ships.
What warranty do the systems have?+
2-year warranty on the vessel, every weld and TC port, and on the controller and pump where they're included.
Heating element: 2 years against defects. Not covered: dry-firing (running the element without liquid covering it), and heat or melt damage at the twist-lock plug from a loose or improper connection — a proper, fully seated connection has to be maintained.
Temperature probe: 6 months — it's a consumable. Gaskets, clamps and O-rings are consumables too; replacements for all of these are in stock and cheap.
Lifetime parts support on everything we build — serviced, not replaced.
I was looking at Ss Brewtech. What is the closest match?+
Ss Brewtech is winding down its brewing equipment business. We matched each of its systems, Unitanks and glycol chillers to the closest equipment we make, and listed the standard tri-clamp parts that fit Ss gear you already own: Ss Brewtech alternatives.
