Fermenter Temperature Control Kit (water)- Included with BräuPro System

Designed and assembled in Vancouver, BC. Duties, tariffs & brokerage prepaid on every US order.

Automated jacketed fermentation control for precise, stable temperature management.

This Fermenter Temperature Control Kit provides a complete, integrated solution for managing fermentation temperature in jacketed conical fermenters. Designed for use with water or glycol as the cooling medium, the system regulates flow through the fermenter jacket to maintain stable fermentation conditions across the entire batch.

At the core of the system is the Bräu Supply SV1 temperature controller, which monitors fermenter temperature via an internal thermowell probe and actuates a 120V solenoid valve to control coolant flow. The result is responsive, automated temperature regulation without manual intervention.

Key Advantages

  • Automated Cooling Control – Solenoid-actuated flow regulation based on real-time fermenter temperature.

  • Inkbird 308 Controller – User-defined temperature setpoints with precise on/off control logic.

  • Direct Thermowell Measurement – 1.5" tri-clamp thermowell mounts inside the fermenter for accurate internal readings.

  • Positive Isolation – Full-port ball valve at jacket outlet for shutoff and safe service disconnection.

  • Modular Tri-Clamp Integration – Designed to interface directly with jacket ports on Unitank-style fermenters.

  • Two Cooling Configurations – Select Water-based or Glycol-based operation depending on your cooling source.

System Design & Operation

  • Cooling Medium Control: 120V solenoid valve regulates flow into fermenter jacket.

  • Temperature Feedback: SV1 controller monitors internal fermenter temperature via thermowell.

  • Outlet Isolation: Manual ball valve provides positive shutoff at jacket outlet.

  • Power Requirement: 120V supply for controller and solenoid valve.

Water Configuration – What’s Included

  • 1 × 120V solenoid valve with tri-clamp adapters

  • 1 × full-port ball valve with tri-clamp adapters

  • 1 × temperature controller

  • 1 × 1.5" tri-clamp thermowell

  • Quick-disconnect water connection kit

  • 2 × quick-disconnect adapters

  • 4 × tri-clamps with gaskets

Glycol Configuration – What’s Included

  • 1 × 120V solenoid valve with tri-clamp adapters

  • 1 × full-port ball valve with tri-clamp adapters

  • 1 × temperature controller

  • 1 × 1.5" tri-clamp thermowell

  • 1 × 3/8" glycol line set with tri-clamp adapters

  • 2 × tri-clamp adapters for glycol chiller integration

  • 6 × tri-clamps with gaskets

Typical Applications

  • Primary fermentation temperature control

  • Cold crashing (performance dependent on cooling medium)

  • Controlled ale and lager fermentation

  • Jacketed conical and Unitank systems

Compatibility

  • Bräu Supply Unitank conical fermenters

  • Jacketed fermenters with compatible tri-clamp jacket ports

Important Notes

  • Select the configuration that matches your cooling source: Water or Glycol.

  • Water configuration performance depends on the incoming water temperature and flow rate.

  • Glycol configuration requires a compatible glycol chiller.

  • Proper hose routing and secure tri-clamp installation are required for leak-free operation.
