The Unibräu is your all in one brewing system which makes any type of craft beer from grain. It is modular in its design and starts with our amazing brew kettle and removable grain basket. It is built from stainless steel and only the highest quality components. Unibräu comes in 10 gallon (2.5-6 gallon batch) and 20 gallon (5-15 gallon batch) sizes. Commercial brewery grade disconnects are featured throughout the system for easy assembly, cleaning, and integration with your existing brewery.
Everything you need to get brewing from day one! All you need is a vessel to ferment in, a large brew spoon, and your grains to start your first brew day.
120V system requires a 15A 120V standard household outlet.
240V system requires a standard 4 wire 14/30 dryer outlet.
If you require a 3 wire 240V configuration, let us know in the order notes and we can build it! We'll supply a bare stripped 3 wire cord end and you supply the 10-30 plug.
Not everyone has a 30A 240V dryer outlet available to them, which is why our 120V system is so popular. Our 120V system needs a common 120V 15A outlet, and if you're brewing in your kitchen it's likely you'll have 2 outlets on seperate circuits in order to utilize our element upgrade kit. This gives you up to 3300W of power at 120V which is more than plenty for a 5 gallon batch. A 1650W element heats 6 gallons of water at roughly 1.6 deg/min and a 5500W element heats the same volume at 5.5 deg/min.
The Unibräu comes with a full 12-month warranty, and we believe it'll last you a lifetime. The included brewing elements are warrantied for 90 days.
This is light years better than what I've been doing but still have a couple of things that I'm not a fan of. 1) I understand the point of the hop filter at the bottom of the kettle, but for me, cleanup efficiency and speed is more important than a little bit better hop utilization. I'm going to keep using my drop-in hop spider. 2) The GFCI Plug was faulty. Steven worked with me and we ended up getting things working, so no huge issue. 3) I think that this will be a non issue once I go back to the drop in filter, but to clean the pump and chiller I pretty much had to disassemble the entire system to get the sediment out, then reassemble and run the pump again with cleaner water. I think that with the hop filter, I'll be able to run water into the kettle and pump it out via the chiller to empty out sediment before adding PBW for some self cleaning, since there won't be a ton of hops in the bottom of the kettle.
All around a great product and I think that it was worth the higher price tag than something like the GrainFather.
I love my Unibrau 10 gallon system and I really believe it's one of the best (if not the best) designs on the market at this price. This is coming from an aerospace engineer with 37 years in the business. Super quality construction and super customer support! I had purchased the 6 port kettle and one of the welds had a small leak. Steve was fantastic in his support and took care of the problem promptly. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Thank you Steve!
Steve provided fantastic customer support, all my items were not in and he communicated with me that some would come at a later time. As soon as he got them they were shipped out to me with zero issues. The unibrau system is clean, easy to set up and easy to use. It produces a fantastic product and brew day is a breeze. The added cost compared to other all in one brew systems is 100% worth it. I previously was using a Grainfather G30 and there is no comparison between the two. High quality parts, and high quality service. Can't really ask for more.
