The Unibräu is your all in one brewing system which makes any type of craft beer from grain. It is modular in its design and starts with our amazing brew kettle and removable grain basket. It is built from stainless steel and only the highest quality components. Unibräu comes in 10 gallon (2.5-6 gallon batch) and 20 gallon (5-15 gallon batch) sizes. Commercial brewery grade disconnects are featured throughout the system for easy assembly, cleaning, and integration with your existing brewery.
120V system requires a 15A 120V standard household outlet.
240V system requires a standard 4 wire 14/30 dryer outlet.
If you require a 3 wire 240V configuration, let us know in the order notes and we can build it! We'll supply a bare stripped 3 wire cord end and you supply the 10-30 plug.
Not everyone has a 30A 240V dryer outlet available to them, which is why our 120V system is so popular. Our 120V system needs a common 120V 15A outlet, and if you're brewing in your kitchen it's likely you'll have 2 outlets on seperate circuits in order to utilize our element upgrade kit. This gives you up to 3300W of power at 120V which is more than plenty for a 5 gallon batch. A 1650W element heats 6 gallons of water at roughly 1.6 deg/min and a 5500W element heats the same volume at 5.5 deg/min.
The Unibräu comes with a full 12-month warranty, and we believe it'll last you a lifetime. The included brewing elements are warrantied for 90 days.
Worth the wait to get this great quality all in one brewing system, easy to use and easy to clean. The customer service experience was also remarkable, questions answered promptly and helpful hints. Thank you!
Tried brewing in a bag, I did not like the hassle of temp control. I looked at different electric systems and chose the Brau all in one system. Brewed two different types on the first day. I am very pleased with temperature control and ease of the system. I was concerned that the plate chiller would not be sufficient. I was wrong and it performed better than expected. I am looking for little upgrades to better suit my style, but this is definitely worth the money and time to invest. GREAT JOB GUYS!
I have been brewing on the 240V premium system for a few months now and love it. The quality of everything is top notch, easy to use, clean and upgrade.
I did dry fire my first element as it heated up faster than I was ready for, be aware of the power it has.
The boils are vigorous, and I have found you need more water than you would in other system or you will fall below your desired quantity of finished beer.
For anyone who has had a delayed response from the company, don't panic you will hear back from them eventually. When I first purchased I didn't hear anything for weeks, but eventually did. I think it is Steven himself working, so sometimes he may not be readily accessible.
Unibräu All In One Electric Brew System (20 Gallon 240V premium) Review
I purchased the Unibrau 20 gallon 220V premium system at the beginning of the year.
I've done a couple of brews so far.
The system works well and is very modulator with high quality components.
I particularly like the tri-clamps and butterfly valves which allow for different configurations.
My volumes are a bit off and efficiency is a bit lower than I expected.
I plan to try a sparge on the next brew to see how much difference it makes on the efficiency.
The newer sv1 controller works well with the sv240 power regulator.
The controller is simple and intuitive to use.
I noticed the 220V supply was switching (overshoot) a lot during the mash.
Turning the output down on the sv240 to 10-15% helped the system become more stable.
You can also turn down the output once you reached the boil, as you don't need the full 5500W to maintain the boil.
The hop screen is pretty good, but I find I need to constantly scrape away the hops (particularly leaf hops) when whirlpooling or chilling since the pump suction pulls them down on to filter screen.
I may look at purchasing the hop basket to see if that works better
The BR-19 pump works well with the counterflow wort chiller and mash recirculation.
The counterflow chiller has quick disconnects and kitchen tap faucet connector, which I like.
One thing to consider for the 20G system is that you'll need a hoist to lift the grain basket to allow it to drain.
This becomes heavy if you are doing 10G batches.
I also recommend subscribing to Brau supply youtube videos.
There is lots of tips and useful information that will help you with your setup and brew day.
Overall, the Unibrau system is very well designed and a pleasure to brew with.
I would give it 5 stars!
