The Stainless Steel False Bottom is designed to support efficient lautering and improved wort clarity during the mash process. A precision laser-cut perforation pattern promotes even wort flow through the grain bed, supporting consistent vorlaufing while minimizing grain carryover.
The false bottom is designed to sit above the kettle ports, providing flexibility for system configuration and allowing heating elements or pickups to be installed below the grain bed. This layout is well suited for recirculating mash systems, including RIMS-style setups.
Constructed from 304 stainless steel, the false bottom is built for long-term brewing use. Its low-profile geometry supports continuous recirculation without creating excessive dead space, while an integrated T-handle allows for easy lifting and removal for cleaning between batches.
