Homebrewing

The Unitank is Bräu Supply's standalone fermenter — jacketed, pressure-capable, sanitary tri-clamp throughout. Same vessel that ships inside our BräuPro brewhouses, sold on its own to pair with any tri-clamp hot side, double your fermentation capacity, or replace whatever plastic conical, carboy bucket, or band-heater compromise you're still tolerating. Three scales: homebrew 5G–20G, 1 BBL pilot, and 3–5 BBL production.
Same architecture across every scale. The geometry, the fittings, the pressure rating, the standard tri-clamp ports — these don't change when you move from 10G to 1 BBL. What changes is jacket coverage, controller, and how much beer comes out the bottom.
Spund, carbonate, and closed-transfer to keg without ever exposing the beer to air. No more siphons, no more bottling-bucket oxidation, no more lager that tastes like cardboard after week three.
Trub falls to the apex. Dump it through the butterfly valve after cold-crash. Harvest clean yeast for the next batch. No racking off the trub bed, no fermenter-shaped sediment cake.
Tap water for ales. Glycol for lagers and any temperature below ambient. The jacket holds set point within ±0.5°F across a 14-day fermentation — no band-heater swings, no fermentation chamber required.
1.5", 2", and 3" tri-clamp ports. No proprietary fittings, no shop-only spares. Replacement gaskets at any homebrew store, every valve serviced with a 9/16" wrench. The vessel is repaired, never replaced.
The Unitank is a standalone fermenter. It doesn't care how the wort got there — pour it in cold, or land it via tri-clamp from any compatible kettle. Common pairings on the Bräu Supply side:
Match the Unitank to your batch size — or to the brewhouse you already own. Architecture, fittings, and parts are constant across the lineup; what changes is jacket coverage, controller, and capacity.

The 40-gallon Unitank — the same vessel inside the BräuPro 1 BBL brewhouse. Moving to fully jacketed + insulated this fall — matching the 3–5 BBL build. Commercial duty cycle, identical workflow to the homebrew line.
3 BBL and 5 BBL production-scale Unitanks. Same architecture as the homebrew line, scaled for commercial duty cycles — fully jacketed, fully insulated, with side and base jacket coverage for fast crashes on large volumes.
The Unitank exists to ferment beer. It isn't a kettle that someone bolted a thermowell onto — the conical bottom, jacket, ports, and pressure rating were sized for the fermentation use case from day one.
A dimpled body jacket gives even, full-body cooling. Pair with glycol and a controller and you get rock-stable set points across the longest cold-side beers you'll ever make.
Carbonate naturally during the tail end of fermentation. Push finished beer to keg under CO₂ without ever exposing it to air. Beer that tasted right on Day 14 tastes right on Day 90.
Conical bottom + butterfly valve = trub leaves cleanly, yeast harvests cleanly, and the next batch's pitch is sitting in a sanitized jar by Sunday afternoon. No racking, no second-vessel hop.
1.5" and 2" tri-clamp at every port. Off-the-shelf gaskets, off-the-shelf valves, off-the-shelf spares. Nothing about owning a Unitank means waiting on a single-supplier part.
Learn the workflow at 13 gal. The 1 BBL and 3–5 BBL builds behave the same — same ports, same hardware, same cleaning regime. You scale your vessel, not your process knowledge.
Same workflow, same fittings, same pressure rating. Here's where the three sizes diverge — and where the 1 BBL is moving to match the 3–5 BBL build.

Every Unitank uses the same fittings, same cleaning regime, same valve hardware. The vessel grows; the process you learned doesn't.
8, 13, or 26 gallons. Master pressure transfers, spunding, and yeast harvest at homebrew scale.
From $1,999 USD
Same valves, same ports, bigger vessel. Closed hop additions and transfers
From $2,999 USD
Side manway, base jacket, commercial CIP layout. Same six accessories, same cleaning chemistry — at a scale that pays a taproom's bills.
Launch Q4 2026
Already own a Homebrew Unitank? The 1 BBL and 3/5 BBL use the same valve, gasket, and racking-arm hardware. Your spares drawer carries over. The next vessel is just a bigger version of the one already in your garage.

No. The Unitank is a standalone fermenter. It pairs with any tri-clamp kettle — our BräuPro and Unibräu brewhouses, your existing HERMS or RIMS, or someone else's pilot system. The only thing the Unitank cares about is that wort can get into it; how that wort got made is your call.
The current 1 BBL Unitank ships with a partial body jacket — same configuration that's been inside the BräuPro 1 BBL for the last two years. Starting fall 2026, the 1 BBL moves to a fully jacketed + insulated build, matching the spec of the 3–5 BBL production line. Faster crashes on lager, less ambient bleed-through, same vessel envelope. Current builds remain in stock until the changeover; updated builds open for pre-order this summer.
Three things.(1) It's jacketed. Most homebrew conicals manage temperature with an immersion coil sitting inside the beer — one more thing to clean and sanitize, cooling from a single spot instead of the whole wall, and hardware in the way of your trub dump and yeast harvest. The Unitank's dimpled jacket cools from outside the vessel; nothing inside but beer.(2) Pressure-rated to 15 PSI— spund, carbonate, and closed-transfer to keg without ever exposing the beer to air.(3) Standard tri-clamp at every port, and it's the same vessel that ships inside our commercial pilot systems — the architecture you buy at 13 gal scales to 1 BBL without changing your process.
Tap water works for ales fermenting at 65–72°F if your tap is cold enough year-round — which it isn't, for most of North America in summer. Glycol is required for lagers, cold-crash, and anything where your set point is below ambient. Most homebrewers add a glycol chiller within the first year. We sell a matched BEF-02 glycol kit on the parts page.
Yes — that's the most common second-purchase pattern. Brew on Saturday, ferment in Unitank #1, brew the next batch the following weekend, ferment in Unitank #2. The BräuPro brewhouse runs back-to-back at whatever pace you want; only the fermenters are the throughput bottleneck. Add a second Unitank in the same size class and you've doubled your output.
2-year warranty on the vessel, every weld and TC port, and on the controller and pump where they're included.
Heating element: 2 years against defects. Not covered: dry-firing (running the element without liquid covering it), and heat or melt damage at the twist-lock plug from a loose or improper connection — a proper, fully seated connection has to be maintained.
Temperature probe: 6 months — it's a consumable. Gaskets, clamps and O-rings are consumables too; replacements for all of these are in stock and cheap.
Lifetime parts support on everything we build — serviced, not replaced.
