Hop Filter 6"x10" - 600 Micron Adjustable Height

Designed and assembled in Vancouver, BC. Duties, tariffs & brokerage prepaid on every US order.

Adjustable stainless hop filter for Unibräu systems and 10 gallon kettles.

The Adjustable Height Hop Filter is a stainless steel hop filtration basket designed to suspend at an adjustable height inside the kettle. Unlike fixed drop-in hop filters, the adjustable design allows the filter position to be set relative to the wort level for effective hop contact and controlled filtration.

The basket is constructed from 304 stainless steel with a 600 micron mesh, providing a balance between hop retention and wort flow. It is suitable for use with both pellet and whole leaf hops.

Key Features

  • Adjustable Height Hook — Multi-position hook allows the filter height to be set for optimal hop utilization.

  • 600 Micron Stainless Mesh — Provides effective filtration without excessive restriction.

  • 304 Stainless Steel Construction — Durable, corrosion-resistant, and easy to clean.

  • Secure Mounting — Hook attaches to the basket using a screw and nut for stable positioning during the boil.

  • 10 gallon brew kettles

Excellent piece of gear

I’ve used every hop screen spider under the sun. I believe that they all work; even the finer (300 micron) units. IMHO it’s just a “psychological” issue that brewers have with the smaller filter mesh sizes. Regardless, I was intrigued by this unit and after using it a few times I believe I’ve found my favorite filter. I think having more hop material in the wort is a good idea and the bigger mesh allows for much easier cleaning without a huge mess. Adjustable hanger is a nice touch as well as I use it with different sized kettles. Excellent product.

Awesome 600 micron Hop Spider

I bought the 600 micron hop spider after my last brew became such a mess. I had experimented with 400 micron and they simply block. I bought an 800 micron and this left most of the hops at the bottom of my brew kettle. This Brau 600 micron is the only one I could find in between 400 and 800. I just made a very hoppy IPA and the results in the brew kettle were fantastic. I adjusted the depth using the multi location holding arm. I set mine at a higher depth out of the brew than I should because I was worried about it blocking and causing an overflow. During the Brew, I used my Wort pump to pump the boiling goodness into the hop spider. It filtered without blocking and after the brew was complete, I had an acceptable amount of hop residue at the bottom of the brew kettle. I have now reset the depth to lower for my next brew. Why everyone does not use one of these I don't know. Fantastic work on the part of Brau.
Thanks for solving my brew kettle mess.

Hop Filter Works Well

The hop filter made it very easy to add hops at different stages during the brewing process and remove them easily. I highly recommend it.
