    Excellent piece of gear

    I’ve used every hop screen spider under the sun. I believe that they all work; even the finer (300 micron) units. IMHO it’s just a “psychological” issue that brewers have with the smaller filter mesh sizes. Regardless, I was intrigued by this unit and after using it a few times I believe I’ve found my favorite filter. I think having more hop material in the wort is a good idea and the bigger mesh allows for much easier cleaning without a huge mess. Adjustable hanger is a nice touch as well as I use it with different sized kettles. Excellent product.

    Hop Filter Works Well

    The hop filter made it very easy to add hops at different stages during the brewing process and remove them easily. I highly recommend it.
