What we've locked in

The architecture is set. The details ship final-spec.

3 and 5 BBL inherit everything that makes BräuPro work at smaller scale — two dedicated vessels, jacketed conical fermentation, standard tri-clamp throughout. We're not reinventing the system, just scaling it.

Confirmed

Two-vessel architecture

DrainPro mash tun + jacketed conical Unitank — same workflow as 1 BBL, scaled to production output.

Confirmed

Tri-clamp throughout

Every connection is standard tri-clamp. No proprietary fittings. Same parts ecosystem as the rest of the family.

Confirmed

Glycol-jacketed Unitank

Full glycol fermentation control — required at this scale. Sized for single-batch capacity, expandable for parallel tanks.

Confirmed

3-phase electric

208/480V 3-phase standard at production scale. Power-on-demand element heat — no steam, no gas, no boiler licensing.

Confirmed

CIP + production accessories

Sprayball CIP, carbonation stone, transfer kit, racking arm, hop drop, spunding valve — all included by default.

Confirmed

Vancouver, BC build

Same workshop, same fabricators, same quality control. Hand-built to order with serial-numbered build logs.

Preliminary specs

Targets, not commitments. Final specs lock 8 weeks before launch — waitlist subscribers get notified first. Yellow tags mark anything not yet final.

Where we are

Roadmap.

Built in public. Waitlist subscribers get a quarterly update — design milestones, photos from the workshop, and the moment final specs lock in.

Done Q1 2026

Architecture & CAD

Two-vessel scaling validated through CAD review. Hot-side recirculation and lauter geometry confirmed for 3 and 5 BBL volumes.

In progress Q2 2026

Prototype fabrication

First 5 BBL prototype on the workshop floor now. Element placement, jacket coverage, and CIP coverage being validated wet.

Next Q3 2026

Pilot brews & launch

Three external pilot installs (selected from the waitlist). Public launch + early-access pricing window opens for first 25 orders.

Then Q4 2026

General availability

Standard lead times begin. Early-access pricing closes. 3 BBL and 5 BBL ship from the same Vancouver workshop as the rest of the family.

Common questions

Frequently asked.

When will the 3 BBL and 5 BBL be available?+

Target launch is Q4 2026. Pilot brews on the first prototype begin mid-year, with three external pilot installs selected from the waitlist. Public launch and early-access pricing opens for the first 25 orders shortly after. We'll email the waitlist 4 weeks before pricing opens.

What does early-access pricing actually mean?+

First 25 confirmed orders get a meaningful discount off the public launch price — typically 10–15% on a system this size — plus priority build slots so you ship before general availability. Final pricing isn't set yet; waitlist subscribers see the number first.

How is the 5 BBL different from a typical 5 BBL?+

Three things. Electric, not steam — direct-element heat eliminates the boiler license, the steam plumbing, and the gas line. Two-vessel BräuPro architecture — DrainPro mash tun + jacketed Unitank, same workflow as 1 BBL, no extra vessels. Standard tri-clamp throughout — every fitting on the system is industry-standard, no proprietary parts.

Am I committing to anything by joining the waitlist?+

No commitment. Joining the waitlist gives you early-access pricing, priority build slot, and quarterly progress updates. You can decline when the order window opens with no obligation. We use the waitlist to size production runs — accurate signal matters more to us than locked deposits.

Can I deposit now to lock my spot?+

Not yet — we don't take deposits before final specs are locked. Specs lock 8 weeks before launch; waitlist subscribers will get a deposit link in that window. If you need to lock production capacity sooner, talk to us about a custom 1 BBL build with a second Unitank in the meantime.

Will accessories from smaller BräuPro carry over?+

Most do. Tri-clamp fittings are standard so 1.5", 2", and 3" parts are cross-compatible. The element, controller, and 6" stone scale up — different SKUs but same family. Mash tun and Unitank vessels are size-specific.
