What’s Included:

  • 400-micron stainless steel inline filter
  • Ball lock liquid-out post (attached to filter)
  • Optional: 150-micron secondary filter
  • Silicone transfer hose with 1.5" Tri-Clamp connection

System Compatibility:

  • Designed for use with our Unitank jacketed conical fermenters or any 1.5" Tri-clamp connection
  • Compatible with all Unibräu Pro Systems
  • Fits any 1.5” tri-clamp racking port
  • Connects directly to ball lock kegs (liquid side)

Installation Instructions

  1. Sanitize All ComponentsBefore use, sanitize the filter, post, and transfer line using your preferred sanitizer (e.g., Star San).
  2. Connect the Filter
  3. Attach the Ball Lock PostThe ball lock liquid post is pre-installed on the filter.
  4. Attach the Transfer HoseIf you’re using a silicone hose, connect it from the filter output to the keg’s liquid-in dip tube.
  5. Optional: Use 150-Micron FilterFor finer filtration, insert the 150-micron screen into the filter housing.

Transfer Procedure

  1. Purge the Keg with CO₂Remove air from the keg before transfer to reduce oxygen exposure.
  2. Start Transfer
  3. Monitor for ClogsIf flow slows, check the filter for excess trub or hop matter.

Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Disassemble and rinse immediately after use.
  • Use brewery-approved cleaners (PBW, caustic) to remove buildup.
  • Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry.
  • Store dry and re-sanitize before next use.

⚠️ Tips & Warnings

  • Do not exceed 15 psi on the fermenter during transfer.
  • Avoid transferring highly particulate-heavy beer without cold crashing.
  • Always test for leaks before starting your transfer.
  • Not intended for hot wort use—cold-side only.
