Show off your home brew at one of these summer gatherings

Bask in the glory of brewing a masterpiece of a beer all you want, humans crave recognition. While you can drink your own delicious brew as much as you want, nothing beats having your friends and family take one taste of your creation and rave about it for the next few hours. The praise received for something you spent hours designing, thinking of, and brewing is unparalleled. We, as brewers, take pride in our drinks. And, of course, we know that you do as well.

Brewing beer has never been more comprehensive than with Bräu Supply’s collection of home brewing systems and accessories. We’re confident that you’ll brew up something amazing that you’ll want to share. Today, we thought we’d take a break from our normal home brewing tips and take a few steps in a different direction. Next time you brew a delicious potion with our home brewing equipment, throw a little party. Here are some suggestions.

    Sports Watch Party

It’s August and you know what that means: NFL Preseason. While preseason isn’t quite as exciting as the normal season, it’s certainly just as worth watching. Scope out new players and ready yourself for the upcoming pro football season by throwing a watch party at your home. Not only is this super fun, but it’s also a great way to get your buds to taste your home brew; little do they know of your tricks to get them to tell you how amazing your beer is. Bask in the glory of your utterly delicious brew and float in the praise as you and your pals hope that your team finally takes Brady down.

    Baseball Game

What pairs better with beer than an impromptu baseball game? If you have a big backyard, great! If not, pick on your friend or coworker that does! We’d suggest taking over the local little league field, but, well, that might be illegal. A backyard baseball game with your pals is a great way to get down and dirty, as well as competitive. Settle any animosity you may have with your friends, neighbors, and coworkers by beating their sorry selves in a game of backyard baseball. If that fails and you lose miserably, at least you have an unbeatable home brew to show off. And, trust us, nothing is more impressive than a beer concocted with Bräu Supply’s home brewing equipment! Not even striking out stupid Todd in the final inning.

    Backyard Barbeque

Fire up the grill, girls and boys, it’s barbeque time! Throw a neighborhood barbeque and impress those who come with your brewing skills. Heck, who even needs to grill food if you have your own homemade lager! Barbeques are some of the summer’s best events and they’re great for showing off home brewed beer and connecting with the neighbors who you awkwardly feel inclined to wave to when you see them outside of their home. Bond over your hatred of the family that just moved in, you know, the ones with the yippy dog, and throw a home barbeque turned personal beer fest. It’ll be fun!

    Pool Party

You’ve spent hours slaving away using your home brewing system to create the perfect concoction, what now? A pool party, of course! If you don’t have a pool in your backyard, improvise with a slip and side! Pool parties are fun, but pairing them with a delicious, homemade beverage simply can’t be beat. If you’re throwing a pool party, be sure to keep a close eye on participants. While beer is delicious and always turns a party into a roof-raiser, it’s always a good idea to make sure that people aren’t overdoing it and putting themselves at risk. This advice holds true with all beer fueled events!

    Movie Night

What’s better for an easy Friday evening than a movie night. If the weather permits and you have the supplies, host a movie in your backyard with a projector and some lawn chairs. If you're a simpleton like the rest of us, a living room showing will do. Because beer is a mighty socializer, pick a movie that people probably won’t get that into, like anything featuring Adam Sandler!
