Our electric brewery controller allows you to safely supply power to your 240V water heating elements. If you are looking to upgrade your 120V controller for a faster brew day, this is your answer. This elegantly simple design built from extruded aluminum, can be combined with the ETC controller, allowing you to safely regulate power up to 5500W.
Power output is regulated by the built in knob on the front face. This simple device gives you precise, proportional output power to your heating element. It's easy to 'dial in' the power output to your brewing element for pinpoint mash temperature accuracy, and when boiling you'll prevent messy and unwanted boil overs.
Connections to the ETC controller are made using the included C13 cord which plugs into the receptacle on the front face of the SV240 and into the power output of the ETC.
SV240 works with a standard 30A outlet, and is fitted with a 10' long power cord with a 14-30P dryer plug. All internal components are UL certified. A dryer plug will be either a Nema 14-30P configuration or Nema 10-30P. The difference between these configurations is the absence of a ground wire in Nema 10-30P. Both outlets can support the 240V Electric Brewery Controller. At this time we only supply our controllers with a Nema 14-30P plug, or with a bare cord end. If a Nema 10-30P plug is desired, they can easily be sourced at your local hardware store or here and installed on the bare cord end.Of course, you should NEVER forget to install a GFCI with your 240V setup.
